 Icy Phoenix Replaces '"' To '\"' In Every Code.
I have a problem with my site.
When i add a code in my page (for example, my Google Analytics code, or the HTML blocks in CMS), Icy Phoenix (i'm not sure if this could be a problem of another thing) adds a backslash \ before every quotation mark ".
For example, i added this in a HTML block:
<script type="text/javascript">
But, in my page, or when i see the block again in my CMS, this is the code:
<script type=\"text/javascript\">
Do know how can i solve this problem?
Thanks!!

http://www.miiconsola.com
A few minutes ago i edited manually the Google Analytics code (in the database) so the page is valid (in W3C), but the problem still happens when i use the ACP to modify this.
Thanks!

I don't know.. Is there any configuration in PHP that could cause this?

Not that I know, You can check if there are errors on the database and fix it with "Check database" which are in the ACP/DB and Security/Database Maintenance/Check database
Ps: I suggest you do a database backup before making any restore operation.

There wasn't errors in my DB. Also I tried to change my Database charset but it doesn't worked. I think that IP encodes the URL's or PHP is doing that. I disabled magic_quotes some time ago, is it causing the problem?
Thanks!

Yes! It could be... You can enable and see if it works? Clean cache after it.

 Re: Icy Phoenix Replaces '"' To '\' In Every Code.
Yes, it was. Icy Phoenix requires magic_quotes_sybase to be On. I don't think this is good. It's Deprecated in PHP 5.3.0
Thanks!
EDIT:
If i just enable magic_quotes_sybase it damages my page's style, so i disabled it till it is corrected in Icy Phoenix. I think i must enable all magic_quotes variables, but i want to avoid that.
Thanks!

Has there ever been a resolution to this problem?

 Re: Icy Phoenix Replaces '"' To '\"' In Every Code.
Come on! Someone must have a resolution to this problem. Since magic quotes are no longer supported in php, this problem should not be happening.
Surely this must be serious enough for the author of this application to do something to correct it. If there is a fix, we need to know about it.
