Hi everyone,

I've downloaded and followed the readme for the XS "new installation",
I'm testing my site on localhost  with XAMPP (before I've done a backup!)

I've done the installation with the file "update_to xs2.php" (i've put this file in  phpbb2 folder , after i've did login like administrator ....and digit  h**p://localhost/mysite.it/phpBB2/update_to_xs2.php
at this point the installation is finished without errors

When i try to open the forum with  h**p://localhost/mysite.it/phpBB2  this error appear:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function check_upi2db_on() in C:XAMPPhtdocsCB750F.euphpBB2includessessions.php on line 437


What is wrong?
Does phpBB XS can't work in local?

You did some errors for sure... if that function is not recognized is because you missed some files.

Try Icy Phoenix since phpBB XS is now outdated.
