Hi

I am making a new theme and need to have a background colour running from underneath the top links to the footer of page...

I am using global blocks on the left and using the center template I have tried various methods but the background image stops where the block stops I have run out of ideas

I have included an image of what I mean

 


Any help would be greatly appreciated
