Post ACP Configuration And The Config.php File

I'm going through the ACP at the moment configuring all the settings.  There are a lot of them.

If I make a backup of config.php, does that capture all of them, or most of them?  Are all the settings contained in that file, or are some other files affected, whether in the database or elsewhere?

Sadly no though I wish it was that easy....

Any changes you make in the ACP are database changes so you need to make a database back up to save your settings...

Does it affect several files in the database then, depending on what item was configured?

Most of the settings in ACP are stored into phpbb_config table.

Anyway some settings are stored in other tables... such as permissions for example or forum categories.

It is better to have a full DB backup, instead of just dump some tables.
