change index.php to this code
Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
<?php
header("Location: forum.php");
exit;
?>

This redirects everyone going to the portal (the cms is name for editing portal) so instead they go to forum

Hi
You are editing dynamic menu, while on your forum is probably nav_quick_links menu.
What you need to do is to open templates/mg_themes/nav_quick_links.tpl file and edit code there to set up your links.
And before you ask , the file you should edit to change top navigation is templates/mg_themes/overall_header.tpl

Hope this helps
