Error 500 When Trying To Access The CHMODed Folders

mimoson999 Joined: February 2007 Posts: 47 Location: Madrid	Error 500 When Trying To Access The CHMODed Folders i discover that when upload an image to te forum it doesn't show because all the folders where i applied permisions can't be accessed (in this site it can be accessed). all I get it's error 500 EDIT: if I delete the .htaccess files the problem solves. only a question. are this files important for the forum?
