1) To the left of "Board Index" I want to add the words "Main Site" that links back to http://www.ps3team.us/
-- I've managed to get the logo on the top left to link back to the main site, but ultimately I want to remove that logo from the forums.

Just taking a quick glance, but have you looked in: root/styles/YOUR-STYLE/template/breadcrumbs.html?
