borbo Joined: September 2006 Posts: 132 Location:	015-0008 - Private Message Notification I'm not sure but i think that after applyiing the latest patch private messages are not shown in the red rectangle "You have 1 new Message" but are shown like the pic below Is it a bug or there is a setting in the ACP for this?? Thanks

I think there is a bug in the includes/page_header.php Using the old file everything works fine.... After replacing the old file with the new one, PM's do not appear above the nav but appear as like in the image i've uploaded...

You're right... the patch had an error... I didn't check one file which has been patched with the wrong patch.

Download again the patch or apply this:

OPEN includes/page_header.php
FIND

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]

        if ( $userdata['user_profile_view'] && $userdata['user_profile_view_popup'] && $board_config['privmsg_disable'] == false )

REPLACE WITH

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]

        if ( $userdata['user_new_privmsg'] && ($board_config['privmsg_disable'] == false) )
