Icy Phoenix Mobile Devices Style

Subject: Icy Phoenix Mobile Devices Style
Hi all,
I'm very glad to announce that Icy Phoenix has now a new style which is optimized for mobile devices.

The new style has been developed by CyberAlien owner of the great project ColorizeIt!

The style is still in beta testing phase, and if you want to help in debugging, you can have a try with the latest development version of Icy Phoenix that you can find on GIT:

Icy Phoenix Latest Development Version

Here you will find the Mobile style:

Icy Phoenix Mobile Style

To use it, just download and install Icy Phoenix (from GIT) and then navigate it with a mobile device (iPhone, Android, Blackberry...).

If you are willing to see the style with a "normal" pc you can install it as you would do for any other style and activate it... otherwise you can manually change includes/sessions.php:

FIND
Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
// For debugging purpose you can force this to true
//$this->data['is_mobile'] = true;

REPLACE WITH
Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
// For debugging purpose you can force this to true
$this->data['is_mobile'] = true;

Let me know what do you think and if you find any bug.

I also would like to thank CyberAlien for the precious help in developing such a style.

Thanks,
Luca

Thanks you very much. My users will thank you. Great work!!!

Subject: Re: Icy Phoenix Mobile Devices Style
At Icy.de I viewed the mobile style on my regular PC and it took me quite some effort to switch back, maybe i missed something but if not ..it could really use a reset link :mryellow:

IMHO

It only needs the style switcher in the menu

I see 4 menu groups in top, but theres no styleswicher between them

Hey MG,
great work, thanks a lot.

I had a quick look at it.
I found 2 things.

mobile style is not automatically selected for my Iphone 3G 4.2.1
and
the login site login_ip.php is for me to weight. I have to scroll to the right site to login.
Maybe it should be one below the other.

Works brilliant and looks quiet good on smartphones, BUT

am i blind?? or why can´t i find an loggin option in the menu, nor on home screen.

A loggin turned up, when i tried to look at an profile, but not before

Subject: Re: Icy Phoenix Mobile Devices Style
Just clic at the topright, then hit "log in" (BTW, the first time I came, I saw "enable mobile friendly site", even if I was already using it (automatically)).
