I recently discovered Black Pearl has been upgraded for phpBB3 3.0.6 and I want to upgrade my Black Pearl theme. I've made a lot of modifications to the theme and I realize there's no easy way of upgrading my theme and keeping these modifications I've made. WinMerge is making it a little easier for me though. I had a little look around and I couldn't find a list of files which have been changed since the last version of Black Pearl. If I could get this it would save me a lot of time. Thanks.

i thought you said only a few files were changed 
well anyway i m in the middle of updating finally, i'm having doubts about the automatic updating because i discovered some language files where not downloaded , replaced or merged .. nothing (don t understand why this happened though
)
this has made me check all language files pfffewww, i m starting to regret ever changing this much to those files in both dutch and english
(next time might be better to just do the languages manually using a list of changes to be added)
eventhough i started doubting the update to be correct, i see no way to check if all changes are actually made or downloaded, guess i ll have to wait and see

i noticed a few pictures were updated in subsilver2, i m not so worrieed about the icons because they allready exist in black... i m just wondering about that background picture, where is it used? is there no replacement for it?

Regarding automatic update, I can't tell... because I have updated manually (it's the way I prefer!). Did you try asking @ phpbb.com?
Regarding new images, I can't remember new images added to subSilver 2, can you please tell me which ones? Anyway I think that Black Pearl doesn't need those...

it's all appreciated MG but i just thought a few was maybe 5 hahahah, just my luck
well i ve reverted and now think i m on 3.06, all looks fine sofar only blackpearl has not been updated (wich seems to cause the smiley popup not function as usual because something has changed there obviously)
about the images .. they replaced a few post icons in subsilver2 but black pearl has those allready ofcorse, the only image replaced that black pearl does not have is /styles/subsilver2/theme/images/background.gif
i dont know where it s used ..the only thing i know is that they seem to have shrunk it alittle in this update

He he he... yes, this update is something unusual for phpBB that usually stick to their release without changing that much. Honestly I prefer this new way... even if with some unwanted problems.
Do not mind about that background image, it is not needed by Black Pearl.

i believe i will love these changes too ...if i get them working
next update i might look more closely at how to update manually, this could be a good idea for me too

No codechanges... I have to quote spydie... use WinMerge to compare original packages of your templates: the one you had installed and the one you would like to install. The purpose of comparing original package is that you can easily view what is changed.
