New Install HTTP ERROR 500.0 - Internal SERVER ERROR Windows IIS7

Subject: New Install HTTP ERROR 500.0 - Internal SERVER ERROR Windows IIS7
All,

I am trying to get this board installed and am having alot of trouble. I get all the way up to when you click continue installation, the page hangs for like 1 minute and then I get the internal server error msg. The tables are being written to the database correctly, but when I click ok it is having an issue. I can also confirm that the database settings are not being written to config.php.

Any clues? my permissions are set correctly on the folders.

Thanks,

Justin

do you have installed the rewrite engine?

It makes many errors on the install procedure.

Note it is a server addon, not for IP.

hey there I did not install it, I ended up giving up and going with nuke evolution which installed the first time without any problems.

Thanks,

Justin

Just for the records... did you try to rename/remove .htaccess in the root?

Good luck with Nuke.
