What does this Mod do

1. profiles can be designed by your members.. using the custom tool
2. or you can make your own designs and allow you members to choose
3. members can place information on their profile in the order of what they like
4. post a bulletin on your profile
5. make friends with other members and display their photos on your profile
6. top friends list
7. send comments to your friend the comments appear on their profile and vice versa
8. members can add information to their profiles using Icy bbcode (display you tube videos flash items etc
9. block members from seeing your profile or making comments to you
10. adding friends through this mod is not the same as the friends built into Icy
11. members can report profiles that may be not in line with the rules of your site
12. admins can view profiles and review if they are ok send a message to the member asking them to remove anything if necessary
13. set up search features so members can find other members with the same interests or details
14. full admin side configuration
15. works with FAP and Icy bday system
16. many more features.. and add ons that can be made available

1.3 Version

After a week of updating a million or so files (well it felt like that) here is the first  version of mps mod for Icy Phoenix 1.3

Version 1.3

 This can be used live for ICY 1.3... this is a large mod I have tested for bugs and have had so far no reports back on errors.. if you do have a problem please post here

Anyway....  


you need to run the install file before making any changes to your site or you will not be able to get on your site..

I would appreciate if anyone could translate the lang files for other members on the site... and to test for any errors anywhere within the mod...

If anything needs changing please post about it so we can make this a great add on...

All html has been removed from posting in text boxes from this mod for obvious reasons but Icy bbcode will work in any text boxes though you will have to type the code instead of using the standard buttons in some fields...

This is built for frozen icy as it is the default theme on a fresh install... If you need it for another theme please post here with the name of your theme (click on the link)



Always a work in progress but this is full working on live sites

After you have made all the changes and uploaded your files you must go to ACP find MPS on the left hand side.. find config check the settings and hit submit... you must hit submit even if you do not change anything
this makes the mps active...

There are pre modded files included in the package but you still have to run the database update file and add all the extra files that are included in the package..


two small errors in admin file found if you have already installed please upload these 2 files and copy over to your site..

I have finished installed with pre-moded files.  But got this errow message when i tried to submit the config per your instruction.  


I am not sure this MPS or IP error, because I changed Site Description in ACP>Configuration>Server to "Community" ONLY and submit it fine.  Somehow DB did not change, so i managed to change it manually.



Also, i found 2 errors on MPS
1.  icy_pheonix folder mispelled
2.  missing "Visit users myspace page" image

I cannot see the folder anywhere in the download named icy_pheonix can you please poing in the right direction..

what template are you using as the images have only been made for frozen phoenix as that is the standard install template...

did you run the dabase_update.php file first before adding the premodded files... ?



this is not part of the mps mod so I do not know why you have this error ... the test site I made is using the premodded files... and I have not errors ..

can you tell me exactly what you did...

This is an excellent mod in addition to IcyPhoenix!
You make IP profiles more interactive & personal!

Im downloading ATM and I will post any discrepancies/ errors.

sub folder under template folder is mispelled.  If you upload them, you'll have icy_phoenix and icy_pheonix folders under templates.  minor error, but just want to point it out to everyone else  


In regard to my Site Description error, i updated my site to the latest IP 1.3.0 and activated Activity Mod.  After that, i uploaded the mps db update file and ran it sucessfull.  Then, I uploaded all your pre-moded files and activated Activity Mod in includes/constant.php file.  That's it.

I´ll translate this when i got time for that.

At the moment i´ve got this F-1 Webtipp Mod in my to do list.
And that is a huge mod. Not the small one NewPlayer posted for .27

like i understand that´s the complete PhpBB3 mod with ticker, countdown and everything.

First adapt the mod to 1.3, check for failures and then translate it to spanish.

If i get tired of it i´ll give MSP a look and translate it quickly.

Thanks but as I said there are nearly a hundred template files to recode for pro silver it is going to take an incredible amount of time... sadly I do not have a much free time to work on it...

so it will be a long while before I can do this...
