I have three webs with phpBB XS 058.
One of this web is very very slowly. And i know the problem, thw news. My web is www.foro-alemanes.com i only have three news in the "index" and charge in

but when i put off the news my web charge in :

I have other web www.tecno-mania.com with 5 news in index and it charge in

In the first web i have arround 100 news in total, but only three in the index....

No, because before there a other news with images, but no videos....

Help please, i have put off the news.... but i want a solution :(

Try to look at your log files... If they were too big the system may slow down to open them to write... That was my problem a weeks ago.

Intenta mirar tus logs... Si fuesen demasiado grandes el sistema se puede ralentizar al abrirlos para escribir en ellos... Ese fue mi problema hace un par de semanas.

you must cache some blocks in portal, like statistics, top posters and other that require post changes and similar :shock:

What kind of hostig do you have, Carlos?

You should ask them how to access your log files! I can't help you in that way!

BTW, I don't think times between 1-2 secs of pages generating are slow pages. I've been surfing your web and it's not slow at all...

And... To activate cache, go to the ACP / Portal / Administrar Bloque / 3 column

Once you're in activate cache for "Top posters --> 6000"
"Search" --> 1000000000
"Links" --> 1000000000
"Nav links" --> 1000000000
"Counter" --> 600
"Who is online" --> 300
"Wordgraph" --> 300
"Welcome" --> 1000000000

Or you can play with numbers...
