Hopefully some day during next week... I still don't know the final schedule, but we will make our best to be online ASAP.

The new server has a better and newer hardware configuration, so I'm expecting that this site will benefit that.

Hi all.

I have worked a bit on CustomIcy to add some new features.

As you know the aim of CustomIcy is to provide some online tools to customize graphics elements.

The tools already completed are:

• CustomIcy Avatars
  
• CustomIcy Banners
  
• CustomIcy Buttons
  
• CustomIcy Ranks
  
• CustomIcy Userbars

Now I'm working on a new tools which is more flexible and powerful which is:
CustomIcy Pictures

With this new tool you are able to upload your own image or graphic element and apply some effects or customizations.

At the moment some settings are not flexible, but I will work on that to allow further customizations.

I know that if you can use Photoshop you don't need this tool... but this is intented for quick and simple editing just for web pictures.

In any case this new tool is in beta testing... and please be aware that this server has really restricted policies about CPU and memory charge... so under certain circumstances you won't be able to see your image... in that case try to disable some effects and reload the page.

Make some tests and let me know.

I'm glad to announce that HPL is now part of the developers team here in Icy Phoenix.

Since he contributed so much to recent developments here @ IP I've decided to let him jump in in Developers group.

Hi all.

While debugging Icy Phoenix before going final, I've decided to launch another project which may helps users to customize their sites.

The aim of this project is to provide some online tools to customize the design of this package.

In particular I would like to offer a real time customizing tool for:

• Buttons
  
• Ranks
  
• Template specific graphics elements
  
• Avatars
  
• Userbars
  
• Extras

At the moment I've just coded some core functions and I've decided to beta test them online with your help. Most of the features (many of them are still to be defined) will be designed and coded after the final release.

The name of the new project is CustomIcy and currently I've enabled two tools:

• CustomIcy Buttons
  
• CustomIcy Ranks

The usage is really simple... I'm sure you will understand it quickly...

I would like you to test these features and tell me what do you think about it. Awaiting your feedbacks...

Hi all.

After spending more than one year on this project, I think that my time on it is over, and I'm really sorry to announce that I'm leaving XS project.

I've worked hard for this project, and I'm really happy to see that the community has grown so much in the last year.

The reason because I leave this project is simple: personal divergencies with Bicet.

I will not go into further details explaining this.

I don't know what Bicet will decide to do with phpBB XS, but I want to thank him for giving me the opportunity to work on it, and to learn so many things about php and phpBB world. Since phpBB XS currently doesn't have a home, I've decided to continue supporting it until Bicet will decide something about XS or until a new Official XS Support site will open. So...

This site is not any more the Official Support site for phpBB XS, but will continue support it until the project will be close, moved or whatever Bicet will decide.

Now, talking about the future, I will launch another phpBB project soon... I still don't know the name of the new project, and I don't know who will be part of the new Staff... but I can say that most of the features and guidelines I've adopted in phpBB XS will be ported on it... even if I hope to be able to manage things in a different way... hopefully more efficient and organized respect of what I did in the past.

When I have some further details, I will let you know... I still have to think to several things, write down the new guidelines, recruit the Staff, design the new package... and so on... Please, do not ask me for support via PM, because now I'm really busy with this new project setup. If you need help, I hope that the Staff will find the time to help you, and when I have some spare time, I'll obviously come to support XS either.
